DIY Cheap and Easy Scarf/Belt De-Clutter

Do you have a closet full of scarves or belts that just get in the way when you're looking for the perfect outfit to wear? Or if you're like me and have to dig through a box of scarves to find the perfect one.  We just underwent a move in which I now have my own room for the first time ever!! So, I got a little creative with the decorating (3M Command strips and hooks are now my best friends by the way!) So, while unpacking my knit scarves (even though it's the middle of summer) I stuck them all on a hanger, and they looked a little cramped, like they didn't wanna be there...

So, me being the Pinterest addict that I am, I turned to there to find a new idea on how to organize my scarves, and came across this link: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/479422322803496096/ and decided to give it a shot!! I love how it came out so I decided to share the results with you guys.

What You'll Need:
Scarves (Refer to my pile o' scarves in the top of the picture)
Shower rings (I got a pack of 12 at the dollar store)                Any clothes hanger (I grabbed an empty one out of my closet)
Step 1:

Take all of your shower rings out of the pack and secure them onto the hanger.  (Don't scrape up you hands like I did because I bought shower rings that wanted to be difficult!)

Step 2:

Put one scarf to each shower ring, pulling the end through and evening it out.  I only had 8 scarves (guess that's an excuse to make more!) so I had four rings left.

And now a side by side comparison of my before and after results:

Big difference right?! Now I just need to make more scarves to fill up those last 4 rings!! :)

That's all for this post guys.. It's been a long day and my bed is calling my name :) If you guys have any ideas on what to do for my next post please let me know!! :)
